Cupping Therapy
Massage Cupping is a modern adaptation of the ancient art of cupping therapy.
Traditional massage is performed by applying pressure to help release tissues, cupping instead uses negative pressure to pull, lift, and expand the soft tissues of the body.
This unique decompression technique of lifting the tissues increases circulation, getting vital nutrients to the muscles, and allowing for detoxification.
Cupping’s negative pressure works to loosen the fascia (connective tissue), increase range of motion, loosen scar tissue, & get blood and lymphatic fluid moving.
Cupping engages with the body in an unique way, allowing relief from headaches, chronic pain, and daily stress by activating the parasympathetic “rest and digest” nervous system.
Especially indicated for those with Fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, repetitive stress injuries, whiplash, traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, depression, fatigue, anxiety, high blood pressure, and neuralgia.
Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue is designed to interact with with tissues below the surface.
A combination of firm pressure and myofascial techniques allows the fascia to unwind, allowing for increased blood supply, greater range of motion, and relief from pain.
This form of bodywork is a great fit for those with chronic pain, injuries, surgeries, muscles spasm, or sciatica and many more conditions.
Relaxing Swedish
Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, via the application of smooth, gliding strokes to ease muscle tension, increase circulation, & decrease cellulite.
It is a classic massage that will allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation, and forget your worries; perfect for anyone trying to decompress.
Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy work that involves the hands gently being placed over various energy (chakras). Through the use of this noninvasive technique, awareness and integration of the body and mind is achieved.
This intentional open space allows for time to process emotional, spiritual, and physical issues in a calm and supported environment.
Reiki can be used to help treat physical/emotional pain, poor sleep, promote healing after surgery, depression, PTSD, anxiety, daily stress, worries, and feelings of ungroundedness.
Facial Cupping Massage
This session focuses on reduction of lines, wrinkles, and tension by increasing circulation to the face via cupping, coupled with a calming calendula moisturizer.
The cupping promotes fresh blood supply, facial tension release, collagen reformation, and clearing of pooled fluid. (Good bye, puffy eyes!)
This treatment is also beneficial for those with Traumatic Brain Injuries and migraine headaches.
Accompanied by a relaxing scalp massage.
